Med-Care Training is a small vocational school approved by the state of Connecticut. We specialize in Certified Nurse's Aide, (CNA) and Introduction to Dental Assisting programs. Career success for our students is our main objective. With a minimum of time and expense, we offer an opportunity for motivated students to acquire knowledge and marketable skills in the health care field.

Med-Care Training, located in Fairfield County has an outstanding reputation for providing excellent, comprehensive training for both programs. With ample classroom space and small class sizes, students are able to learn clinical skills and acquire the knowledge that is necessary for the proper care of patients. Our flexible scheduling of classes allow students to choose the class time best suited to their individual needs. Our qualified instructors together have over 20 years of experience. We are able to provide the best possible learning environment using a variety of teaching methods. This includes demonstrations, video presentations, and in depth discussions as well as hands on practice.

Certified Nurses Assistant Program

The Certified Nurse's Aide program consists of 40 classroom hours and 60 clinical hours during which students will be instructed in basic patient care, infection control, safety and emergency procedures and medical terminology. The CNA program will prepare and qualify students for the State Nurse's Aide exam which the student may take at our facility provided the student successfully completes the program.

Dental Assistant Program

The Introduction to Dental Assisting program consists of 60 classroom and clinical hours during which students will be instructed in Tooth Anatomy, fundamentals of dentistry, dental equipment and laboratory procedures, and radiation safety and processing procedures.
